The Cambridge School Sports Partnership works with 41 primary schools, 8 secondary schools and 1 special school in the Cambridge City in order to maximise the positive impact that high quality Phyiscal Education, School Sport and Physical Activity can have on young people. The School Sport Partnership was established in September 2003 and is hosted and employed by Netherhall School.

OUR VISION:

To ensure all young people in Cambridge receive high quality Physical Education (PE) lessons and participate, enjoy and benefit from Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity

YOUNG PEOPLE:

To inspire and motivate young people in PE and School Sport through high quality events that encourages them to be active and healthy

TEACHING STAFF:

To build and support a network of teachers and support staff with the confidence, skills and knowledge to deliver an outstanding PE and School Sport experience for young people

SCHOOLS:

To advocate the importance of Physical Education and School Sport through providing national and local updates, developing and sharing good practice and demonstrating impact.

To help achieve this the Partnership offers a popular and successful subscription service to schools to support them with delivering high quality PE and to enrich sporting opportunities for all young people. The subscription service is varied and flexible with a ‘Core Offer’ designed to suit the needs of all schools and then a menu of optional ‘Bolt On’ programmes which further support the provision of PE, physical activity and sport in schools. This approach offers more choice and greater flexibility enabling schools to tailor their own package of support to suit the needs of their children and school.
