Year 3 & 4 Gymnastics Competition

 

Using The Cambridge Gymnastics Academy facilities and their coaches for the day allowed the CSSP to witness one of the best displays of gymnastics they have ever seen.

“The determination on their faces to perform their routines correctly was lovely to see and they showed great passion throughout the afternoon supporting their team members” Said Cath Heron Partnership Manager.

Newnham Croft A Primary School took top spot in the competition with Stapleford A coming second, William Westley A third.

“This is the first time we have used the Cambridge Gymnastics Academy facilities and their coaches for the year 3 & 4 competition,” said Lisa Woolfe, the Cambridge School Sports Partnership Project Officer.

“Both the facilities and the coaches were amazing. It is wonderful to give so many children the experience of using elite gymnastics equipment” The day was full of cheerful children and supportive parents.

“The competition was one of the best displays of year 3 & 4 gymnastics we have ever seen. The children were focused and well rehearsed and certainly came with a winning attitude.”

Staff and students put in a lot of time and effort into their routines and it really does show on the day.
