The Spirit Of The Games award went to Stapleford B for their determination and passion throughout.

“The North Cambridge Academy Elite Gymnastics team opened the event with a fantastic show of skills. Their performance was faultless and I’m sure it will inspire the younger gymnasts to keep performing long after the event today” said Lisa Woolfe, the Cambridge School Sports Partnership projects officer.

“Both the facilities and the coaches were amazing. It is wonderful to give so many children the experience of using elite gymnastics equipment.

“The competition was one of the best displays of KS1 gymnastics we have ever seen.

“The children were focused and well rehearsed and certainty came with a winning attitude.”
