SUMMARY:Multi Sports Festival (AM)
DESCRIPTION:FOR ALL\, Targeted\, COMPETITIVE  All of our events will follow our new event themes: For All\, Targeted and Competitive. These themes have been designed to ensure we provide events to benefit all young people.    FOR ALL - These events are for everyone and are delivered in school. They focus on providing 60 active mins for every child whilst supporting their physical\, social and emotional wellbeing.    TARGETED - These events target specific groups of young people who would benefit the most from having positive experiences of sport\, physical activity and competition. The activities and outcomes are designed to reflect the young people’s needs and motivations.    COMPETITIVE - These events are for pupils who are ready and prepared for competition and enjoy performing and competing against others. They provide the opportunity for competition in a positive and friendly environment where the focus is on enjoyment and supporting the wider development of young people as much as the outcome of the event itself.      This event is a Targeted event and is for children in Year 3 who are inactive\, have low self-esteem or poor social skills. The intent is to increase physical activity levels\, develop social connections\, increase confidence and motivation.    This is a targeted event and is for Year 3 children\, a team of 10 players.    You can choose either the festival on the 1st October or 15th October\, however not both.    We will confirm your entry once the festival is closed. This is not a competition.    Parking: We can accommodate small minibuses on the school playground. A member of staff will meet and greet you upon arrival.  We look forward to seeing you - arrival from 9.40 am - aiming to start promptly at 10 am.  A member of staff will meet and greet you upon arrival.  Maximum teams per school:      1    Maximum entries available:      8    Deadline for entries:   Wednesday 23rd  September 2026

The competition is scheduled to take place @ Cambridge Rugby Club\, Volac Park\, Grantchester Rd\, Cambridge CB3 9ED.    Arrival from: 9.40    Start time: 10.00    Finish time: 12.00    Basic Rules:      Played on GRASS    Games duration to be confirmed (8-minute half)    8 a side  (Maximum squad of 12 with a minimum of 4 from each sex\, with at least two from each sex playing at once)    Further rules attached:TTTrugbyrules-Rules.pdf    Please ensure you bring your own rugby ball to complete warm up and your own tag belts.
