On Tuesday, 22nd June, 6 teams descended upon the Basketball courts of St Bedes Sports Centre to play out the last leg of this year's Championships.

The afternoon was supported by 5, Year 8 HotShots Players and the Community Basketball Coach, Carolyn Jupp.

From the opening jump ball in game one, there was only ever going to be one winner of the tournament, and that was St Philips. They won every game and every game they won 6-0. Next year when we begin looking for players for the U13s county team, you can be sure we start by rounding up the St Philips players. The Bottisham boys came in second place followed by Kettlefields and Newnham Croft tying for third place. Arbury A & B tied for fifth place.

This event marks the end of Basketball season for the Partnership and HotShots Basketball Club for 2009/2010. Watch for flyers through your school to learn of HotShots sessions near you starting in October.
