Event Details: The Festival coincides with the handover of the Paralympic flags from Beijing to London in preparation for the 2012 Paralympics. Cambridge has been chosen to hold a flag for the day and our Partnership Young Ambassadors have taken the opportunity to organise Festival on this day.

School Sports Partnership Day

Event Details: The annual Partnership Day will be hosted jointly by Cambridge and South Cambs School Sports Partnerships.

The day will involve Primary Link Teachers, School Sport Co-Ordinators and Community Sports Coaches from both Partnerships and will be extremely important for all schools involved in the School Sport Partnership (SSP) programme. The day will include further information on the new Physical Education and Sport Strategy for Young People (PESSYP), an outline of the key priorities and projects for the Partnership in the year ahead, an opportunity to attend two workshop sessions of your choice and finally some time with your SSCo to determine priorities and plan for the coming year.
