Summary of Course: This predominantly distance learning course has been developed for PE teachers and other activity leaders wishing to improve their knowledge of common medical conditoins that may cause concern during PE lessons, physical activity sessions and recess.
The course will provide participants with:
* information about diabetes, asthma and obesity
- the knowledge and skills to plan and adapt PE lessons and physical activity session for young people with these medical conditions.
- a comprehensive resource pack which includes practical physical activity ideas and parental advice sheets.
The course is predominantly distance learning with a half day contact training session on 4th April 2010 . The cost of the course is £125 and the COURSE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY 5TH MARCH 2010.
