Our Community Coaches

 

Welcome to our Community Coaches Area!
We have seven Community Coaches active across the region and each one has their own profile on this site, so you can see what each is up to and learn from them about how their skills could help you.

 

Carolyn Jupp

Carolyn was the first of the Community Coaches to join our Partnership.

Since 2005, she has delivered basketball in over 26 of the 43 primary schools either during curriculum time or as an after school club.

Colin Greenfield

During the last 10 years I have been involved in coaching both badminton and tennis in the Cambridge area in various schools and clubs.

Since January 2006 when I took on the role of Community Multi Skills Coach I have started Multi Skills 'Hub' clubs and have run numerous MultiSkill activities for many of our primary schools and others in the area.

Helen Stepney

Helen is our netball guru. She organises our Netball Coaching Courses and Central Venue Leagues for Cambridge.

She has been involved for many years playing and also at the coaching level and brings this considerable experience to the Partnership, for the benefit of young and adults alike.

Keiran Williams

Keiran Williams, is the new Community Hockey Coach for Cambridge City Council and Cambridge School Sports Partnership. He also performs the same role in East Cambridgeshire District Council and Forest Heath.

Kieran has been coaching hockey since the age of 17.

Rachel O'Doherty

Rachel works predominately with KS4 students in our Partnership and has taught GCSE dance in secondary schools for 4 years.

Recently, 25 of her youngsters performed at the Roy Burrell Awards for achievement in sport, held at the Guildhall.

Samantha Moody

Sam is a new recruit to the Partnership and is currently training to become a Level 2 qualified Gymnastics Coach.

She has been into our Primary schools assisting and observing Gymnastics lessons within Key Stage 1 and this term will be looking more at KS2.

Steve Corkin

Following a long-term passion for sports, fitness and healthy-lifestyle, he established his own company, Bodylabs, in December 2003. Appointed by the Cambridge School Sports Partnership since January 2007 as Health, Fitness & Lifestyle Coaches, Steve and his team have covered numerous schools across Cambridge City.
